What's on the menu

So what’s on the menu this week?  Like every week some things stay the same – homemade pizza, easy recipes, and other things are different – like spicing it up with a new twist on an old classic.

So enjoy this week’s menu ideas and we hope that they help make your life a little easier because we are moms and we need a little ease in our lives!

Sunday – Taco Stuffed Bell Peppers

I’m always trying to eat more veggies AND also get my kids to eat more veggies so when I saw this super cool looking stuffed bell pepper recipe I had to give it a try!

Monday – 20 Minute Parmesan Pasta with Broccoli

Again – trying to get those greens in wherever I can.  This time it’s broccoli and I have to say I LOVE me some broccoli especially when it’s covered in a delicious parmesan sauce.  This recipe will be a crowd-pleaser for sure!

Tuesday – Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie

I think I’ve spoken about my love of chicken pot pie.  And every time I see a new recipe, I have to try it.  I love that this recipe is low and slow which makes it super easy to set and forget, my favorite!

Wednesday – French Toast Nuggets

I’m not going to lie – this recipe is full-on for the kids, but I love it too.  My husband not so much, he’s not really a breakfast for dinner type of person, but if I add bacon and scrambled eggs he’s pretty cool with it.

Thursday – Aloha Chicken Bowls

You can make this sweet or sweet and spicy and I choose the latter because there is nothing better than sweet and spicy Asian bowls.  The best part about this recipe is if you have picky eaters you can always separate everything out which is a big plus to me.

Friday – Homemade Pizza

Yes, we do this every week.  And no it most likely won’t change. Here’s the dough we use from the Pioneer Woman. I use whatever tomato sauce we happen to have laying around, BUT if I’m being super gourmet I will buy the pizza sauce from Trader Joe’s AND their Pizza seasoned shredded cheese.

Saturday – Veggie Loaded Chicken Bites

Always trying to get the veggies in, and this recipe not only gets the veggies in but it also is something my kids love.  Win-win for this mama!
