There is nothing more devastating to a mother than the loss of her child. And OC Mom Collective treasures the hearts of all mothers – especially when it comes to their children.

This is why we are teaming up with the McKenna Claire Foundation to raise money for pediatric brain cancer research.

The McKenna Claire Foundation was started in remembrance of their daughter who was diagnosed with DIPG in 2011.  DIPG is an incurable brain tumor that only affects young children usually between the ages of 5 and 7 years.

There is no cure.  There are no survivors.  It has a 100% death rate.

No child, no mother, no family should ever have to bear the diagnosis of DIPG.  We must do more, we must give more, we must fight for more research.

Unfortunately, pediatric cancer is grossly underfunded.  Only ONE penny from every dollar donated to the American Cancer Society goes to fund research for pediatric cancer.

Every year The McKenna Claire Foundation holds a lemonade stand to raise money for pediatric brain cancer research.  However, because of the current pandemic, there is a chance their lemonade stand fundraiser may not be able to happen.

But that doesn’t mean YOU can’t do something!

In celebration of our Mother’s Month, we are donating ALL of the proceeds from our OC | MOM designed t-shirts and sweatshirts to the McKenna Claire Foundation.

You can purchase shirts HERE.  You can also give directly to the McKenna Claire Foundation HERE.

Every single dollar counts, every single person who knows more CAN make a difference.

“We envision a world shining with possibility and free of pediatric brain cancer; where families can remain whole and little dreams can become big realities. We believe that through our efforts, through the good in individuals in our local and global community, and through the brilliance, collaboration, and hard work of focused scientists—we can make a difference in the world and we can change the lives of other families who are hurt by this terrible disease.” – The McKenna Claire Foundation
