Sunday – Homemade Hamburger Helper

I love Hamburger Helper.  Like, I used to make it every single week for myself in college, but ya know it’s definitely not the healthiest.  And it has a ton of sodium.  So when I found this recipe for a homemade version I was so excited!

Monday – Chickenless Orange Chicken + Veggie Fried Rice

Guys, if you aren’t shopping at Trader Joe’s I don’t know if I can say it any louder, but like GO TO TRADER JOE’S! I can get super crazy with chicken and the texture so when I found this chickenless orange chicken I HAD to try it and it is AMAZING.  I get 2 packs and 1 pack of their frozen veggie fried rice and seriously it’s the easiest meal to make!

Pro-Tip – add the sauce to the orange chicken while it is still in the pan and cook for just a bit that way you’ll get the nice sticky sauce we all love.

Tuesday – Zesty Crockpot Italian Chicken

It’s getting a little cooler which means we can crockpot right?!  This is a full-on comfort recipe and it takes little to no effort – my kind of recipe!

Wednesday – Quesadillas

Sometimes I don’t want to cook.  And that day is today.  The thing I love about quesadillas is that they’re easy to make.  And I can throw a bunch of whatever I have in them!  Black beans, some avocado, a little pineapple – whatever floats the old boat!  I have no recipe.  I just take tortillas, fill them with cheese and all the other things and then pan fry them.

Thursday – Ground Turkey Sweet Potato Skillet

This my friends is delicious.  And easy.  And those are two things that I love! I use this recipe And just an fyi – sometimes I don’t have the onion or the peppers and I use minced onion spice and frozen cut up bell peppers because that’s how I roll!

Friday – Homemade Pizza

Yes, we do this every week.  And no it most likely won’t change. Here’s the dough we use from the Pioneer Woman. I use whatever tomato sauce we happen to have lying around, BUT if I’m being super gourmet I will buy the pizza sauce from Trader Joe’s AND their Pizza seasoned shredded cheese.

Saturday – Leftovers

It’s not fancy and my husband hates them, but we are making a lot of food thigs week and I refuse to waste it! And also am I the only one that thinks leftovers are delicious?  Like when food can sit in its own flavor for a few days it just tastes even better!
