Community over competition. That’s the theme of every event hosted by OC Babes Who create and it’s embodied by everyone in attendance, including the guests at OC Babes 360.

OC Mom Collective got to spend a sunny Sunday at OC Babes 360, one of the woman-owned businesses’ premier experiential events.

From body-positive boutiques to health and wellness providers, holistic healers and delicious spirits, OC Mom Collective is excited to take you behind the scenes of this collaborative community event.

Music by Ray Landrum

Upon arrival, we were instantly greeted by the sultry sounds of local artist Ray Landrum. She hails from Huntington Beach and croons covers with a folk whimsy style that’s tough to resist. You can check her out on YouTube or find out where her next live performance is on her Instagram

Chakra reading by Intuitive Insights

Once we got settled in, we headed over to Intuitive Insights where Alex offered reiki-infused chakra readings. This was such a positive experience and just the validation I needed to balance my energy. I definitely look forward to experiencing their good vibes again.

Hosted drinks for babes 21 and over

Next, Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktails, Long Drink and Chic cocktails served up cold drinks to quench our thirst and get the party started. Suja Juice was also on hand with complimentary drinks for those not looking to imbibe. It was so fun trying new concoctions and I absolutely loved the refreshing sparkling cocktails in a can.

Delicious appetizers by Descanso Restaurant

After loving the libations, I worked up quite the appetite and was so thankful for the delicious Elote Asado from Descanso restaurant. This light appetizer of grilled sweet white corn, chili marita aioli, cotija cheese and chili con limon powder was paired with corn tortilla chips and satisfied my appetite perfectly.

Mini makeovers by Physicans Formula

It was a total surprise to be pampered by Physicians Formula. If you’re not familiar, Physicians Formula is an all vegan, natural, organic, and safe cosmetics company that makes clean high quality products for even the most sensitive skin. This is perfect for me because I have very sensitive skin and have been looking for some great all-natural products to change up my makeup routine.

Fashion shows by Brooke Taylor Active,

Owned and designed by a certified yoga instructor who understands how your clothing should feel and perform while working out, Brooke Taylor Active creates athletic apparel that’s both attractive and affordable. Brooke Taylor Active models strutted down an outdoor runway to show off their colorful designs. All patterns are unique with limited runs and are carried locally at Ekam Yoga in Newport Beach or Spectra Yoga in Costa Mesa.

Flower lei workshops by Shore Lei

Shore Lei showed attendees how to make flower crown and lei arrangements, bringing traditional Hawaiian fresh flower lei, crowns, and tropical arrangements to the event. If you’re looking for a lei to celebrate, look no further than Shore Lei for all occasions, graduations, birthdays, engagements, weddings, paddle outs, and memorials.

Complimentary cupping therapy by Waisted with Alo

Cupping was such a cool experience. I had never had a cupping therapy treatment before and I had a little bit of hesitation because my sensitive skin doesn’t always respond well to deep tissue massage. However I found the treatment to be really relaxing and rejuvenating. Wasted with Alo also offers cellulite treatments and cool sculpting, both alternatives for aesthetic and weight loss solutions.

Plant-based and probiotic products by HeroLife

One of my favorite aspects of events like these is learning about new products that are good for my skin and for the planet. One of those products that I came to love are the HEROLIFE Probiotics Baby Wipes. My daughter and I both have eczema so I’m always looking for clean products for our delicate skin and these wipes didn’t disappoint. They’re soft and support a natural, protective barrier and function of the skin.

There was so much to experience at OC Babes 360 and I wish we could write about it all. For now, I will say, I guess you just had to be there.

Founded by women for women, OC Babes Who Create was created as a full-service experiential marketing and media company that operates regional communities of content creators across the nation.

With such an incredible message of positivity and empowerment, we’re sure to be attending the next OC Babes Who Create event soon.

  1. This was such a lovely event. I enjoyed the little arts and crafts station, seeing the beautiful and impressive leis girls were making and wearing on their heads, the free samples, the yummy cookies, great shopping for cute clothing and really cool resin art, and those elote snacks!
