Orange County’s newest non-profit dance and theatre studio is starting its second year of programming, and enrollment is now open!
Join Platinum Performing Arts for a Fall filled with dancing, singing, acting & performing. From ballet and hip hop to mini musicals and full-scale children’s productions- there’s something for every performer at Platinum!
Platinum Performing Arts is a non-profit focused on making high-quality performing arts classes and experiences accessible and welcoming to all. With an inclusion program, All Abilities class options, and scholarship opportunities for students with disabilities and students in low-income families, Platinum is where every performer can shine. Their robust dance program features ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop classes for all ages- but their expertise doesn’t stop at dance! Musical theatre is the heart and soul of Platinum, and this Fall, they have THREE different ways to explore musical theatre.
Triple Threat Training
A weekly class that includes singing, dancing, and acting- all in one! Open to ages 7+, this training program helps young performers build well-rounded skills in all major disciplines in musical theatre.
Mini Musical
A weekly class with options for ages 4-6 & 7-12. Mini Musicals give students a way to participate in a musical in a small and low-stress setting. Students meet weekly to audition, rehearse, and perform a 20-minute musical in Platinum’s Mini Theatre room. This is perfect for beginning-level students or for performers who crave more stage time!
The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition
Platinum’s full-scale children’s musical production. Auditions are September 13, and are open to students ages 7-18. Platinum’s productions focus on helping every child shine onstage. All who audition receive a role with lines and at least 3 ensemble numbers. The auditions and rehearsals will take place at Platinum’s studio, with a performance at a local rented theatre on November 15.
