The Ultimate Baseball Experience
I have a seven-year-old son who is obsessed with baseball. And not just baseball – ANGELS baseball. So when Chevrolet asked if I wanted to attend the Ultimate Baseball Experience in one of their amazing Silverado trucks – I jumped at the chance!
Adventure Begins – Find New Roads
Our adventure began with a check-in at the Lido House in Newport Beach and lunch at their amazing Mayor’s Table. If you haven’t had the chance to stay at this amazing hotel I highly suggest you check it out! The sea breeze can be felt in every room. And definitely dine at the Mayor’s Table. It won’t disappoint!
The New Chevrolet Silverado
Once lunch was finished we cruised down PCH. This is where I fell in love with the all-new Chevy Silverado. I’m a short person, so for me, I’ve always been a little afraid to drive a truck. Will I be able to see over the hood? Will I be able to park? Drive in reverse? Change lanes?
So many things to think about and thankfully I can honestly say that I absolutely couldn’t get enough of the Chevy Silverado.
Chevy has thought of everything when it comes to safety and that makes this mama SUPER happy! From a rear-camera mirror to lane change alerts – I was completely comfortable driving the tiny roads through the not so sleepy beach towns on PCH.
I felt safe and in control. The high-tech features were so easy to navigate. They didn’t overwhelm or distract me which made driving along the coast all the more relaxing.
I also loved how much room there was in the backseat. There was plenty of room for my son and his booster seat as well as two other people to sit and be completely comfortable.
Not only that but we were able to use Apple Car Play and download directions and listen to our favorite tunes as we cruised. So convenient.
The Next Stop On Our Ultimate Baseball Experience
Our next stop was to Trinity Bat Company in Anaheim. Watching how bats are made and learning how each and every bat is different was so interesting. From custom bats for players of every level of baseball to display bats – Trinity Bat Company makes them all!
Batting Practice at Angels Stadium
I can’t thank Chevy enough for setting up this Ultimate Baseball Experience! When we got to Angels Stadium we were greeted by their amazing staff and ushered onto the field where we all got to participate in batting practice.
The batting practice was amazing! We also were able to take a guided tour of Angels Stadium – and for those of you who are local you can set up a tour anytime! We walked through the press box as well as saw the visitor’s locker room and so much more!
