A Few Of My Favorite Posts

It’s time to look back at what we’ve done this year and I’m proud to say I love looking back on what I’ve written so far with Orange County Moms Blog.

It’s been a joy and a challenge. So on that note here are a few of my favorite posts I’ve written this past year.

Taking the Leap

This past year my baby has gone from little ball of smoosh to full-blown toddler. Trying to figure out how to navigate the decisions that come along with that was something that was great to connect with other moms over.

Celebrating the Holidays

There are two different articles I wrote about celebrating the holidays that I loved writing and researching this year. One was about Hanukkah, called For Me The True Meaning of Christmas is Celebrating Hanukkah and how to make our holidays more inclusive for any friends who are feeling the stress of the current political climate and growth in anti-antisemitism. So proud to see how many people incorporated menorahs into their decorations this year.

The other was about how we can give back to our communities since the holiday season is all about giving we should always be looking for ways to focus on how to spread cheer and not the commercialism of Christmas. I called this the 12 days of Giving

Travel Baby

And last but not least was my article about traveling with my daughter. Traveling as a family isn’t always easy but it’s something I truly love. So I wrote all my top tips on how to make it work on the plane. I hope you’ll read a few and find something you’ll connect with. That will make you feel less alone and more at home as a mother in this crazy world.
