2025 Orange County Summer Camp Guide

Summer Camp is a time for building skills, making new friends, and collecting lifelong memories. Thanks to our amazing sponsors, we’ve gathered our favorite OC summer camps to help you plan for your kiddos this year!

With so many different OC summer camps to choose from – your child will NOT get bored this summer.  Which means a win for you, mom!

Catalina Sea Camp offers 60+ ocean adventure and traditional summer camp activities, including scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and sailing, to name a few. Catalina Sea Camp is an ideal combination of land and sea for a fantastic summer camp experience.

At this ACA ACA-accredited, challenge-by-choice summer camp, every camper is supported to try new activities. Catalina Sea Camp is the premier residential summer camp that focuses on marine biology and ocean adventure for children ages 8-17. Sign up for one of nine sessions ranging from 1-week to 3-weeks and experience the summer of a lifetime!

AstroCamp is a mountain adventure, physical science, and traditional summer camp program. Boys and girls ages 8-17 make memories and have fun while participating in a variety of activities like space exploration, rock climbing, mountain biking, rocketry, astronomy, craftsmanship, and summer camp fun.

Our fun-filled one two-week programs give campers the unique opportunity to explore science and space in our state-of-the-art facilities and engage in mountain adventure activities–all while making newfound friendships and having the time of their lives with campers from around the globe.

Camp Haverim is all about fun and friendships! Through sports, arts, outdoor adventure and aquatics, your camper will build lifelong friendships, independence, and self-esteem.

Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley for summer day camp! The Boys & Girls Club has twelve convenient locations in Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley and we’re ready to give your child a summer full of fun!

Our Clubs are open for full day summer camp Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 6:00pm and we are open all summer long, from June – August. Sign up for a day, a week, or all summer! 

Whether you’re looking for reliable childcare or just a fun activity for your child this summer, we’ve got you covered. Every week of summer has a fun theme for our activities – ocean exploration, outer space, LEGO engineering, cooking, to name just a few. Optional field trips are available every day of summer, too, so your child can go roller skating, to the movies, the aquarium and so many more fun places with their friends at the Club.

We also have half-day Specialty Camps for your child to explore something new or take a deep dive on their favorite activities. Specialty Camps include Pokemon LEGO Engineering Camp, Dance Camp, Gymnastics Camp, Chef Camp, Chess Camp, Surf Camp, Basketball Camp, Theatre Camp, and Volleyball Camp. For over 20 summers, PlanetBravo has been providing the best in technology fun and education to campers all over LA and the OC. Their courses allow students to learn foundational skills quickly and then create impressive and ambitious projects throughout the week. From Video Game Design to Film Production to Robotics, the goal is to have campers busy creating and having a blast, not waiting for the next instruction. Best of all, the day is balanced with indoor and outdoor play time, so you can expect your child to get plenty of exercise and sun.

PlanetBravo offers programs for K-1st and 2nd-9th graders. Held at local partnering schools throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties. Camp runs 9am-3pm M-F in one-week sessions. With locations in Beverly Hills, Burbank, Encino, Eagle Rock, Irvine, Manhattan Beach, Mar Vista, Pasadena, Santa Monica and Westchester. After care is available at some locations until 5:30pm.

I am pleased to announce that I will be hosting my week-long Summer Golf Camps here at Brea Creek once again. This will be Year 5!

The camps are open to students of all abilities and experience levels. My staff and I take great pride in our ability to tailor each experience to each student.

Some campers will be preparing to try out for a high school team, some will already be playing in junior tournaments, and some will be trying out golf for the first time!

Campers are encouraged to bring their own golf clubs and pull carts. If needed, clubs and carts will be provided.

Like last year, the Half Day Camps will run Monday-Friday from 9 am-12 pm and the Full Day option from 9 am-4 pm.  Each morning, we start with Yoga and Breathing Exercises. Campers then move through instructional stations designed to fit their skill level. Our student-to-coach ratio is 4:1.

After lunch each day, the Full Day Campers play 9 holes of golf accompanied by a coach.

On Fridays, campers compete in the Camp Olympics and everyone leaves with a prize!  Lunch included in the Full Day Camp.

Remember music lessons when you were a kid? A half hour in a room with an instructor, go home “practice”, come back next week. Repeat. Yeah, we thought that was boring too. At School of Rock Huntington Beach our performance based music instruction ignites the love of music in our students and puts them on a path to musical, social, and personal growth like no other program can.

We combine private instruction with a weekly band rehearsal building towards an actual rock n roll show! And any skill level can participate. Our 5-Day Rock 101 Summer Camps are the perfect introduction to our programs. Your student will spend a week of music instruction, jamming to classic and current tunes, and by the end of the week they will perform in their own band! Designer Camp is the leading collaborative, design-based summer camp for young creatives, ages 11 – 17 (rising seventh through twelfth grade). Our boutique programs feature partnerships with nationally-recognized designers and brands.
