Finally, fall is in the air! The mornings are crisp and cool, and pumpkin spice lurks around ever corner. You are day dreaming of all the cute fall layers in beautiful hues of rust, mustards, and olive green. But you don’t have a clue on where to start with the fall fashion must haves.
Instead you stand there and stare into a closet of “blah” and are less then thrilled to get dressed in the morning.
You throw on a pair of yoga pants and your husband’s sweatshirt over your favorite tee you’ve worn 3 times this week. It’s easy, comfortable, and to be honest you just want to get the kids out the door and to school before you’re late.
I have these kinds of days far too often, even despite owning my own clothing boutique. Putting effort into your wardrobe is HARD WORK and probably the last thing on your checklist of things to do.
So I put together this easy Fall Fashion Must Haves Guide of 5 simple items you can use to update your wardrobe this fall and where to get them.
Every season I incorporate a few key pieces to update my wardrobe. Adding fresh new styles to my closet that work well with my existing wardrobe and lifestyle makes it easy and fun to get dressed in the morning. I am a stay at home mom who owns a small boutique and works from home. It would be super easy for me not to care and wear my pajamas all day. But ever since I was a little girl, fashion was always a big deal to me. I saw how much my dad appreciated when my mom looked nice, and I saw how good my mom felt when she put effort into how she looked.
I want to encourage you to try some simple affordable ways to style your outfits this fall.
I know, many of you find shopping to be daunting. You hate the idea. And don’t get me started on trying on clothes in a (gasp!) fluorescent-lit dressing room. I am here to make it as effortless and easy as possible.

2019 FALL FASHION MUST HAVES
#1 – Denim

#2 – A Hat
No, I am not talking about a throw-your-hair-up, no make-up baseball hat. I am talking a cute stylish Fedora. A good hat compliments any outfit and is a classic & chic look.

#3 – Chunky Sweaters

It’s the perfect place for an afternoon of tea and coffee with your girlfriends. You will get lost in the soft ambiance of this hip boutique. They typically carry size S-XL.
Nectar Clothing – I fell in love with this store years ago. It has a bohemian trendy vibe and they carry the best Fall pieces. They are located in Old Town Orange and the staff is always SUPER friendly. In fact, when my kids were little they carried small items to keep them entertained while I shopped. It is always a treat to visit this shop. They carry size S-L
The Lula Barn – This shop is near and dear to my heart. It is my own boutique in Orange where I love to host workshops, weekend styling sessions, and private open shop hours. I carry primarily Lularoe size XXS- 2XL as well as a small selection of home decor.
