What To Do If You Can’t Get Into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

This post is the fifth and final in our week-long STAR WARS series celebrating the grand opening of Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland!

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge alternativesSo you couldn’t snag reservations to the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge or simply did not want to brave the crowds. That’s ok! We have a handful of fun things to do without stepping foot into the land that are stellar Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge alternatives.

Binge Watch the Movies

Nothing puts you more in the STAR WARS spirit than watching the stories unfold on the screen! You can snuggle up on the couch, grab some popcorn or candy, and spend days watching the saga of STAR WARS! Upside is that you can pause the movie whenever you have to go to the bathroom without missing any important parts! Even better, with 8 movies and counting in the series, that’s 8 times the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge alternatives to enjoy.

The debates are real over the “proper” order in which to watch the STAR WARS movies.

Empire Online does a fantastic job of presenting you with options more in depth including pros and cons. A few of these suggested viewing orders I have heard of but a few I have not! You decide which is best for you.

Empire Online’s Watch Order Options:

Episode Order (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX)
Production Order (IV, V, VI, I, II, III, VII, VIII, IX)
Ernst Rister Order (IV, V, I, II, III, VI, VII, VIII, IX)
Machete Order (IV, V, II, III, VI, VII, VIII, IX)
Time Machine Order (IV*, V*, VI*, I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX – I know this one was new to me too)

Comment below and let me know your thoughts on these! Has anyone watched Machete Order?

I am a mother of two loud little boys and a wife to one very handsome hard working man. I am somewhat of a renaissance woman and work a handful of odd jobs when they become available. To name a few, Hair Stylist, Optometrist assistant, Production Coordinator, Student Interview Coordinator, Event Manager, Blogger, Sign Maker and Make-up Artist for old men. I also co-lead a group of moms with young kids through the hard and some time isolating season of early motherhood. I currently attend Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Ca working on my BA. Outside of these commitments I love a good binge watch on Netflix, a tall glass of Pinot Noir and dark chocolate!
