So, it’s getting a little chillier and that just makes me want warm dinners – which means crockpot all the way!
Sunday – Beef Stew
I think I’ve mentioned that my kids love beef? So even though they won’t eat this stew they will eat the beef so still a win for me!
Monday – Baked Ziti
Another crockpot recipe? Yes, please! And this one is also a one-pot wonder, which is basically my favorite kind of thing 🙂
Tuesday – Cheesy Chicken + Rice
This is comfort food for sure, but it’s warm and cheesy and gooey and yummy! Plus my kids like rice and cheese so there you go!
Wednesday – Leftovers
I just made 3 crockpot meals – there are going to be leftovers and we are going to eat them before my husband makes me throw them out. So Wednesday is a buffet of previous meals! I usually heat everything up and let everyone decide what they want.
Thursday – Sloppy Joe’s
I love sloppy joe’s. Maybe it’s my mid-west upbringing but I just love them! Also, I’ve heard they are called different things depending upon where you are from. So if you’re from you could be calling it the following – Manwich, slush burger, yum yums, dynamite, spoonburgers, tavern sandwich. But I’ll stick to Sloppy Joe! This recipe is dynamite!
Friday – Homemade Pizza
Yes, we do this every week. And no it most likely won’t change. Here’s the dough we use from the Pioneer Woman. I use whatever tomato sauce we happen to have laying around, BUT if I’m being super gourmet I will buy the pizza sauce from Trader Joe’s AND their Pizza seasoned shredded cheese.
Saturday – Eggs + Bacon + Biscuits From A Can
Sometimes I’m just too tired to cook – and on those days I make breakfast and yes I even do biscuits in a CAN! My mother shouldn’t read that last part because we are always a FROM SCRATCH kind of family but ya know, 2020.
