Do you like meatloaf? What if I told you that this meatloaf recipe was unlike any other – would you try it?
I was never really a fan as I felt like it was dry and just not my favorite thing in the world. So, one day when I was feeling a little saucy I decided to make my own recipe. And thus my favorite meatloaf recipe was born.
I have two versions because sometimes you forget to go to the store and get the necessary items, or you are at the store and forget to get the necessary items. It happens. It’s called motherhood.
Not Your Mama’s Meatloaf Recipes Version One
Ingredients:
1lb – 1.5lbs of ground beef, chicken or turkey.
1.5 sleeves of Ritz Crackers
1 Can cream of celery soup
2 eggs
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In one giant bowl combine all of the ingredients. Some will say use your hands to mix others will swear by a hand mixer, I use a spoon.
Once mixed. Put into a loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Check at the hour mark and depending on the color of the top I usually bake for 10-15 minutes more.
Done!
Not Your Mama’s Meatloaf Recipe Version Two

1.5 sleeves of Ritz Crackers
1 Can tomato soup
1/4 Cup ketchup

Same directions as above! This second option is a little tangy but oh so good!
