Bubbles Of Fun For Everyone!

Who doesn’t love bubbles?  Honestly, even as a fully grown adult, at least in the eyes of the law, every time I’m around a bubble machine I just get happy.  I also try to catch a bubble on my fingertip, because even though I am over the age of ten it is STILL fun.

And since I don’t give a care what anyone thinks about me, I will chase a bubble at a kid’s birthday party so you just watch yoself!

But, I digress.

The other day my son was insistent upon trying this life-hack that he saw on YouTube.  I know, I know, I shouldn’t let my kids watch YouTube, but honestly, we are in week 9 of this pandemic and I may or may not be going a little cuckoo for cocoa puffs!

And like any good non-pinteresty mom I decided to put him off for a few days.  I now regret that as not only is this Bubble life-hack really fun, it was also pretty hilarious.  Although, the validity of whether this was a true life-hack is up for debate.  Because I’m not sure what it was actually hacking.

The bubbles.

So, the way this bubbles life hack works is that you take a towel or a hand towel, or as we discovered later a paper towel, any of these will do.

  • You then put a circle of dish soap on the towel.
  • Rub the dish soap
  • Add water to the dish soap.
  • Then have your child blow into the towel.  Be sure to remind them not to breathe the towel soapy water – that’s the mom life-hack for you.

What will happen is that your child will be able to blow bubbles through the towel.  They will laugh hysterically and it makes for really good videos.  And it’s also CLEAN fun!  Get it?!  Because they’re making bubbles out of soap…it’s clean..oh man it’s really hard being away from humans for this long!
