Are you looking for last-minute childcare? Want a date night out? Have a temporary freelance project that you need to finish? Look no further than BumoCare. This is on-demand, flexible child care, aimed at parents who need a safe and engaging space for their children.
Since 2021, BumoCare has made it easy to book a half day or full day for children 6 months and up. (Ages vary by location.) It’s so easy to sign up, just book online here: https://www.bumo.care/waitlist!
Tip: book at least a day ahead of time to guarantee a spot is available!
Currently, BumoCare has four locations in California:
- Century City is their flagship location – called “BumoWork” – since they offer parents a space to work as well. Hours are Monday to Friday, and Sundays from 9am-6pm.
- Pasadena hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm, and Saturdays from 10am-7pm.
- Newport Beach hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm.
- Eagle Rock is open most school holidays, 9am-5pm.

What I love most about sending my daughter to BumoCare is how flexible they are with my schedule, how easy they are to book, and the quality of care my daughter received. My daughter did a half day while my husband and I went on a much-needed date. I love how their classes are 10 students max, for ages 2-11, and they have different lessons and curriculums they switch up.
For example, my daughter made a little shaker instrument when she was there. I also didn’t have time to pack her any snacks or food, so I ordered a Little Spoon meal from them, and she ate it all up. She loved it!
If you do pack your own foods, be mindful it’s a nut-free facility.
Safety at BumoCare
While we did have to sign a waiver beforehand just in case something happens, my mind was put at ease immediately when the staff sent photos and updates, and they do so often, which I appreciate more than people know. Hubby and I just knew our daughter was in caring and capable hands, and we know that trust is hard to find.
When we came to pick her up, she had a big smile on her face, and they sent her home with a Bumo Brain Box, so there were many more goodies for her to enjoy in the comfort of her home too!
Some Special BumoCare Events coming soon are:
Camp Sleepy, which is a 4.5-hour block one Saturday a month, from 5:30-10pm, only available at certain locations. Price is $35/hour. This event is perfect for date nights, hanging out with friends, any evening/night time event you want to attend that you otherwise can’t because you need childcare.
