Guide to Day Trips in Orange County

Have a whole day and want to go explore Southern California? There are some great day trips to make that are just a couple of hours away. Whether it’s a trip up to Santa Barbara, down to San Diego or out to Palm Springs, you can plan for a few hours, or a weekend away, at one of these destination spots. Personally, I’d put all of them on your to-do list, because each of these areas features their own fun activities and attractions.

Stroll through Beverly Hills and shop on Rodeo Drive

Wine tasting, festivals or walk down State Street in Santa Barbara
Play a round (or two, or three) of golf in Palm Springs
Temecula wine tasting
Attend a Padres game
See a Los Angeles Rams or Chargers Game
Visit Mission Bay
Shop and dine in La Jolla
Visit San Diego Zoo or Safari Park
Legoland
