Reading Reef At Pacific City – Huntington Beach

From their press release: “On the last Wednesday of each month, Pacific City, an open-air, lifestyle shopping, dining and entertainment destination across from the iconic Huntington Beach Pier in Huntington Beach, California invites children and their families to enjoy its Reading Reef storytime and crafts program from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the children’s play area near Sephora. During each monthly event, sponsored by MemorialCare Health System, attendees will enjoy a group story read by a local author, visits from fairytale or storytime characters, and a fun-filled kids craft.”

FREE but pre-registration is requested by 8 p.m. the previous evening to ensure the center has enough craft supplies for all attendees. Guests are asked to bring a gently loved book to exchange for another at The Reading Reef. Parking may be validated with any purchase from select restaurants or retailers at Pacific City.
